Summary:
The Machine Operator will operate machines including computer numerical controlled (CNC) mills, lathes, and other manufacturing equipment to produce metal parts and components including pump components, fluid ends, power ends, and other flow line equipment to support customer demand and meet production schedules. Conduct initial inspections of completed part or component for adherence to blueprints and schematics and communicate defects to machinists and/or the production supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate software for all machines
- Assist Engineering department with creation, review, and revision of manufacturing data
- Control material in accordance with the quality management system
- Research and recommend solutions to emergent manufacturing problems
- Set up and operate CNC router as well as other shop equipment to maintain rigorous production schedule
- Attend and support machine shop related meetings and speak to the status of jobs in the schedule
- Communicate variances and non-conformance and input recommended adjustments to regulate part
- Configuration, requesting support from Machine Operator if needed
- Contribute to a team environment by maintaining a positive attitude along with supporting a safe work environment
- Maintain clean and organized work environment
Required Skills:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally
- Working knowledge of cutting tools including speeds and feeds, boring, reaming, threading, milling, deep hole drilling and turning is preferred
- Specific experience with CNC Turning Centers (up to 5 axis), Multi-Task Machining Centers (up to 6 axis)
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- Safety Knowledge
- Flexibility to work overtime
Education:
- High school diploma and/or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years of Machine Operator experience on one or more manufacturing machines in an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and/or machining environment

Work Environment:
- Warehouse temperatures are variable and often uncontrolled, unless product being stored requires specific temperatures
- Conditions in warehouse setting can be dangerous, as tasks involve operation of heavy machinery.
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts
- PPE may be required. Safety gear to include face mask, ear plugs, steel toe shoes, etc.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour DOE
Shifts: Monday- Friday 6:00 am- 2:30 pm or 2:00 pm-10:30 pm (additional $0.50 shift differential)
